Our Past Events

 

The Finance Club, under the guidance of faculty from the Finance Centre of excellence has organized the following seminars and conferences in the past:


“Summit on Foreign Exchange” was held on 12th January, 2013 in association with Union Bank of India and MCX. The seminar was aimed at providing a common platform for corporate, academicians and stu-dents to understand the impact of foreign currency fluctuations and other nuances of the FOREX market. The summit also included speeches by eminent guests, panel discussions and research paper presenta-tions also.


"Research Seminar on commodity markets” in association with FMC was held in Feb 2012. The seminar was aimed at bridging the gap between the academicians and the industry experts by providing a platform for discussion on issues that affect the commodity markets. The event involved enlightening speeches from the eminent personalities in the Commodity Markets along with a Corporate Panel Discussion and Research Paper presentation by academicians and students.


"First Academic Summit on Valuation and Financial Modelling” held on 27-28thNovember 2010, where academicians and industry experts presented their research on valuation. This seminar was inaugurated by Dr Prasanna Chandra and was attended by practitioners and academicians from around the county.
