Finache '14
Every Year Finance Club, SCMHRD organises Finache- the Annual Finance Summit. Five such summits have been organised till date.
Last January, SCMHRD saw 5th Annual Finance Summit, the topic for which was ‘Private Equity and SMEs funding’. Eminent speakers from the Indian PE industry were called to interact with the students. The program was kicked off by a welcome speech from the Director, SCMHRD, Prof. Pratima Sheo-rey. The Head of Finance COE, Prof. Di-pali Krishnakumar also came up on the stage to welcome the guests.

Private equity funds have played an important role in providing liquidity to our financial system and improving the efficiency of capital markets. But as their role has grown, so have the risks they pose.
This was the platform to present the ideas of the participants across all B-schools in India and get the latest insights from the industry during its annual Finance Summit Finachè ’14 on 25th January 2014.
This event comprised of three rounds:
“Quiz byte” – Round 1
An online quiz to test the business and economical prowess of participants across all B-schools in India.
“Wire-Tap” – Round 2
In this round all the teams were tested upon their ability to have an eagle-eye observation to analyse and provide solution to the given case within given time.
“ The Last Stand”- Round 3
Top Six teams will were qualified for the finals and will presented their solution to the panel of eminent judges.
MBiana Jones-The online Treasure Hunt
Finache'14 unleashed the first of its kind online treasure hunt- "MBiana Jones"
An online quiz for 24 gruelling hours that tests the general knowledge of participants, ability to think critically and deducing skills.
